Stella

Stella is a three year old sourdough starter.  Born out of boredom with some water and organic flour mixed in.

The Sarge

The Sarge is a 38 year old police officer with 14 years law enforcement and one year baking experience.  Born from human parents.

Why Sourdough?

The process is actually easy,

Only the ingredients YOU want.

Only the ingredients YOU want.

Having NEVER baked before, even I could figure out how to keep a sourdough starter alive  Feeding a sourdough starter is like feeding a human or a pet, just a little less often and with a lot more flour.

Only the ingredients YOU want.

Only the ingredients YOU want.

Only the ingredients YOU want.

Store bought breads come with preservatives and additives to prolong the shelf life.  Fresh bread doesn't stay fresh as long, but with an endless supply of starter you can make bread anytime.  You want organic?  You can make it organic.  You can choose the quality of your ingredients, which can make it a healthier choice.

Cause you can make ANYTHING

Only the ingredients YOU want.

Cause you can make ANYTHING

Sandwich Bread, Boule, Bagels, Pretzels, English Muffins, Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Cake.  Yes, Cake.  OK, some recipes are more involved, but the flavor is unbeatable.  Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner can be made with sourdough.  And I'm not kidding.
