How it all Started
In January 2021, my wife bought a sourdough starter out of fear that COVID would clear the shelves and bread would be a hard item to find. Lisa is great at many things, but keeping the sourdough starter alive was not one of them! I was laid up after a minor foot surgery, and since I was out of work, I decided to give it a try. Stella was born. Since then, I have spent my days off from my day job as a police officer to experiment with various sourdough recipes. I've discovered a hidden passion for baking and no one in my family complains. (Except maybe the accountant due to our flour budget drastically expanding).
About Me
My policing career began in 2010 at the Connecticut Police Academy. After four years as an officer in Connecticut, I transferred to a local department in Massachusetts where I've been since. I was promoted to the rank of sergeant in January of 2022 and I like bread. Oh yeah, I have a wife and two sons. I like them too.
